2 year old and preschool

Hi Judie,
I am a parent and enrolling my 22 month old twins in the fall two half days per week, and one other organized activitiy twice per week for 50 minutes. Everything will be independent of parents.

My daughter has been really clingy/needy/whiny when I'm with her at this parent participation class for 18 month olds. Usually she is outgoing and friendly.

Can I do any harm by putting them in these organized activities? I'm doing it for the social aspect and for them to learn from other children. I am an elementary school teacher by the way, but this toddler/preschool stuff is throwing me for a loop. THANK YOU!
